5 Tips To Deal And Overcome Rejection
Updated: Nov 19, 2020
Rejection may sound scary, but rejection can allow pushing your limit and work on things that help in self-discovery and growth.
It can be in a romantic relationship, professionally, or in business but somewhere we know those are part of life.
Rejection makes us realize the area to work on and it's important because if not then we will be in our comfort zone always.
Lots of rejection and failure lead to pain and stressful days but one thing everyone needs to address your problems and how can be better for them.
Sit down and write all the worries and reasons for rejection and what can be done to address them.
For example, I was always interested in healthy-lifestyle, productivity, and learned digital marketing, and developed an interest in books, and that's how "nupurandworld" started.
Here I share whatever I learned in my life and slowly I accepted rejection as part of the path to success.
Here are 5 things you can do to overcome rejection and work again:
1. Address your feeling
People think hiding and showing a happy face after a rejection is best and make them strong, but I disagree.
Rather than suppress, ignore, or deny the pain admit when you're ashamed, sad, frustrated, or downcast. Be confident in your capacity to deal with uncomfortable emotions head-on, which is essential to coping with their discomfort healthily.
Trying to minimize the pain by convincing yourself--or someone else--it was "no big deal" will only hold your pain. The best way to deal with difficult emotions is to face them head-on.
2. Look for an opportunity of learning from rejection
We always see the result but we never remember the process.
When we proceed with something we go through a process which is a good learning method.
Like we feel bad about rejection but take time to review the method we took towards so, we can work and learn from them and work on them in the future.
